Production Company
Leona Film Machine LLC is the main production company. The headquarters are in west Aurora where we have set up our main studio equipped with film, sound and lighting equipment. Leona Film Machine LLC is in co-production agreements with Ladie K Productions, Inc.
Preproduction
The preproduction phase of the film is basically completed. The preproduction work which has included intense research of the crime saga that took place in Chicago during the 90s, detailed location scouting and careful development of the script has taken over two years.
Production
The Chicago Connection is now in full production mode. We have already shot eight scenes. These eight scenes are going to be part of a short film version of The Chicago Connection now in development. We will send the short version of The Chicago Connection to the festival circuit to draw attention and interest to the full feature film we are now producing.
Post Production
We are planning on starting The Chicago Connection's post production by the end of 2026, and it should last about six months.
