The Chicago Connection is a hunt in a jungle of concrete, lights and steel. A crime thriller inspired by true events that took place in the 1990s.

The film is in black and white, with a documentary-style focus on police procedural work and the Asian organized crime way of doing things.

The Chicago Connection is also an international thriller, thus the story begins in Hanoi. A mysterious woman with no name meets a crime associate in a caphé, shortly after the associate shows up murdered. The action plot quickly travels to Chicago where two detectives are about to uncover a far reaching criminal conspiracy.
